Andrea Revay, subscriber and CEO of Soroban Srl, was born in 1955 in Milan. He graduated in Electronic Engineering specialising in organisation from Politecnico di Milano and attended courses in Business Management (SDA Bocconi) and Management Control. Up to 1984, he worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), mainly in the Industry business unit. Since 1985, he has been working as a consultant, first as a freelancer, then as an entrepreneur: he contributed to the first IT projects based on online computers with legacy systems in the areas of Public Administration and Financial Institutes. In 1993, as a partner in a Suisse company, he started dealing with the rationalisation and automation of in-house logistical and manufacturing processes. In 1998, he took on a role as head of the CRM and Call Centre area at an IT company. In 2001, he went back to dealing with ERP systems, with a specific focus on the Microsoft Dynamics platform and specialising in the Manufacturing and Service Management areas, where – by now – he has gained decades-long experience.
